We were all surprised when Steve McQueen showed up to race. He drove one of the factory Sprites in the 3 hour race on Friday.
McQueen did a good job. He was on a team with superstars, Stirling Moss, Pedro Rodriguez and Innes Ireland. While he finished behind the Grand Prix stars, Steve finished 9th overall.
